Virtual Model UN Conference

About The Event

Project Delegate is thrilled to announce its second virtual Model United Nations conference — a dynamic, youth-led event designed to challenge, inspire, and connect student leaders from across the globe. Taking place on Gather.town, this conference brings diplomacy to life in an immersive virtual space that feels more like a real conference and less like another Zoom call. We know how exhausting that can be.

Delegates will engage in one of five exciting and unique committees*:

  • The Ethics of Artificial Intelligence (General Assembly) – Deliberate the boundaries of AI in warfare, surveillance, and society.

  • The Court of Genghis Khan (Historical Crisis Committee) – Set in 1232, delegates step into a historical tribunal and debate justice in the Mongol Empire.

  • The Syrian Civil War (Historical Committee) – Tackle one of the most pressing and complex conflicts of our time.

  • The Global Refugee Crisis (General Assembly) – Explore solutions to one of the greatest humanitarian challenges of the century.

  • The Space Race (Historical Crisis Committee)– Delegates can represent presidents, politicians, scientific leaders, and figureheads at the height of the Cold War.

*If this is your second Project Delegate conference, you will NOT be placed in the same one as before unless requested

Whether you're a first-time delegate or a seasoned MUN veteran, this conference is your opportunity to sharpen your public speaking, negotiation, and critical thinking skills. Plus, you can meet like-minded peers who care about the world as much as you do.

Why join? Because leadership should be accessible, global problems demand creative solutions, and youth voices deserve to be heard. Plus, you will meet people from around the nation, hone your communication and diplomacy skills, and become part of a large, diverse network of student leaders.

Stay tuned for updates and further details.
